Our Story
With a degree in construction management from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Harvard, Scott first worked for twelve years for two national home builders before founding Focal Point Homes in 2010. Since then, the company has built hundreds of custom and semi-custom single-family homes for clients on scattered in-fill lots in McLean, Falls Church, Arlington, Vienna, Great Falls, and beyond.
From the beginning, our aim has always been to create a world-class, truly enjoyable building experience for our clients and to do our part to make the communities in which we build even nicer places to live than they already are. To accomplish that, we have attracted employees at the forefront of the industry, assembling a team that is unmatched in terms of talent, productivity, and integrity.
